Description:
Serve as the District Executive of the Hopkins Distict(territory covers the Inner City and Urban Core of Cinncinnati, Ohio). The Executive guides the development and implementation of council wide resources and services to support the expansion of Scouting in the urban core of Greater Cincinnati. This person will be tasked with providing staff leadership to their District Board, and will develop relationships with major organizations, and businesses to obtain, potential new volunteers, and funding to offset cost of the program. This individual needs to have the ability to work with other people from diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to build confidence, loyalty, team spirit, and a positive attitude with both the volunteers in your assigned area of responsibility, and your associates on the local council staff.
Ability to utilize community resources, and a willingness to support and assist volunteers, in achieving assigned objectives.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access).
Schedule flexibility; the ability to work nights and weekends on a regular basis in addition to normal daytime business hours.
Possess a valid driver’s license, and be insurable.
